Have you seen Molly? Police search for missing child

Police are appealing to the public to help find a missing child.

Police believe the girl, eight-year-old Molly Nonnan-Medley, is with a woman she knows.

Molly was most recently seen in Woonona at about 11 am on Thursday (31 October).

When attempts to contact the woman she was with were unsuccessful, officers attached to Wollongong Police District were notified on Friday (1 November) and immediately began an investigation to locate Molly.

“Molly is described as Caucasian appearance, 120 cm tall, of thin build with blue eyes and blond/brown hair,” a NSW Police spokesperson said.

“It is not known what Molly may be wearing.”

“The woman in company with the child is known to frequent the Woonona, Wollongong and Huskisson areas.

“Inquiries have established that the pair may be heading to Queensland.

“It is believed they may be relying on public transport to travel.”

Anyone with information about Molly’s whereabouts is urged to contact Wollongong Police Station or Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000.
