A 30-year-old Kiama man was allegedly part of a syndicate that supplied drugs to the state’s central west.

NSW Police have charged four men from Sydney to Cowra for their alleged role in the drug ring.

Investigations began in September 2024 when Strike Force Ashgill was established by the State Crime Command’s Drug and Firearms Squad, with help from the Chifley Police District Region Enforcement Squad.

The strike looked into claims a criminal group was operating in Cowra and surrounding areas.

After extensive inquiries, the strike force made a series of targeted busts across the state from 7 am on Wednesday (13 November).
