Meet Juno!
Juno is a sweet and independent six-year-old staffy-German shepherd cross who’s been patiently waiting more than 120 days for her forever home.
Juno arrived at the shelter through no fault of her own and staff say she has made incredible progress during her stay.
With lots of love and guidance, this sweet girl has worked hard on her manners and built up her confidence, proving herself to be an amazing pup who is just waiting for her perfect family to come along.
Juno is looking for a quieter home where she can be part of the family.
She’d love to join you on daily walks or simply snuggle up on a cozy bed by your feet in the evenings.
She’s independent yet affectionate. Juno just knows when her people need some space and when they need her by their side.
This lovely lady would thrive in a home with dog-savvy children aged 12 and older who understand that she may not always be in the mood for pats or cuddles.
Juno would also prefer to be the only dog in the household so she can soak up all the love and attention for herself.
While she enjoys exploring the neighbourhood around her on walks, off-leash dog parks aren’t her style — she’s not a fan of pushy dogs and prefers a more relaxed, calm environment.
Juno is especially fond of enrichment activities like interactive feeders and puzzle toys, which help keep her mind sharp and her treat supply strong!
She’s also perfectly happy spending time alone when you’re out, as long as she has some fun toys, tasty treats, fresh water, and a comfy bed to relax in.

She’s always up for a fun game with a feather toy or a laser pointer, but she also enjoys her quiet moments, happily curling up beside you while you relax.

India is looking for a quieter household with owners who may have had cats before and have children aged 15 or older.
