A man has died after a stabbing in the Shellharbour area.
A NSW Police spokesperson said shortly before 3 pm on Tuesday 28 January 2025, emergency services were called to a walkway under Shellharbour Road, Dunmore, following reports a man had been stabbed.
“Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District attended along with NSW Ambulance paramedics who treated the man, however he died at the scene,” the NSW Police spokesperson said.
“He is yet to be formally identified.
“A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death has commenced, with the assistance of the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad.”
