Police are asking for the public’s help to find a teenage boy who went missing in Wollongong yesterday.

Abdul Rahman, aged 15, was last seen in Wollongong, at about 2 pm on Tuesday (11 February).

A NSW Police spokesperson said when Abdul could not be found or contacted, officers from Wollongong Police District were notified and began inquiries into his whereabouts.

“There are serious concerns for his welfare due to the disappearance being out of character, as well as him living with a medical condition,” the NSW Police spokesperson said.

Abdul is described as being of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance with a thin build. He is 180 cm tall and has short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black jumper, black pants, black shoes and carrying a black “Nike” branded bag.

Abdul is known to frequent the Wollongong area.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to call Wollongong Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
