Family fears for missing Port Kembla woman with dementia

Police are asking for the public’s help in their search for an elderly woman missing from Wollongong.

Christine Daly, aged 75, was last seen about 7:50 am on Tuesday (24 June) at Wollongong Railway Station.

Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were contacted on Wednesday and began inquiries to find her.

“Those inquiries revealed Christine may have been in the Rosemeadow area around 5:30 pm on Tuesday 24 June 2025,” a NSW Police spokesperson said.

“Police and family hold concerns for Christine’s welfare as she lives with dementia.”

Christine is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 160 cm tall, of medium build, with short grey hair.

She was last seen wearing a white and black dress and matching pants with a small leaf print.

Christine is known to frequent Port Kembla, Wollongong, Sutherland, Cronulla and Campbelltown areas.
