Meet our loveable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes while in care with Wollongong Pet Connection.

Dog of the week: Brucie

Meet Brucie!

Brucie is a three-year-old mastiff-wolfhound cross, and the definition of a friendly giant.

With his cheerful demeanour and larger-than-life personality, Brucie brings joy and happiness to everyone he meets.

His wagging tail and warm eyes are always ready to greet his human friends with enthusiasm and affection.

Brucie has an amiable nature and thrives in the company of his people.

Brucie’s ideal family will have plenty of time to share the simple pleasures of life with him, like leisurely strolls and relaxed afternoons in the backyard.

Brucie would be best suited to an owner who has experience in handling big and strong dogs.

Brucie is undergoing on-leash training to makes his walks easier for his new owners.

Due to his size, he has only just begun his socialisation testing with other dogs, but has so far shown positive signs.

Cat

Reggie is always ready for a cuddle.

Cat of the week: Reggie

Meet Reggie!

This two-year-old tabby-and-white boy is the feline embodiment of friendliness and affection.

Reggie is a social butterfly who immediately forms a special bond with all who meet him, always seeking love and companionship from his human friends.

Reggie’s eagerness for affection and attention makes him a loving companion.

He’s always ready for a cuddle session and loves nothing more than snuggling up close with his loved ones.

His ideal home involves a cozy lap, where he can indulge in his absolute favourite activity: receiving chin scratches that send him into a blissful purr.

Reggie’s sociable nature makes him a great fit for almost any home where love and attention abound.

Whether you’re looking for a cat to keep you company while working from home or a steadfast companion to greet you with cuddles and purrs after a long day, Reggie might be just the friend you’ve been looking for.

To arrange a meet-up with Brucie or Reggie, fill out the apply to adopt form on the Wollongong City Council website. A council officer will contact you to arrange a meet and greet with your potential new furry friend at a convenient location to you. Charlie and Della both come microchipped, desexed, vaccinated, flea and worm checked and lifetime registered.
