A NSW Police spokesperson said bout 11 pm on Friday 28 March 2025, a man was walking at the intersection of Queen Street and Shellharbour Road, Warilla.

“He was allegedly approached by two people and knocked to the ground, before they stole a mobile phone and fled the scene,” the NSW Police spokesperson said.

“A member of the public stopped to assist the man.

“The 61-year-old man returned to his home nearby and contacted police.”
