Fairy Meadow home targeted in drive-by shooting

A Fairy Meadow home with four people in it was sprayed with bullets overnight, a NSW Police spokesperson said.

Police have begun an investigation into the shooting which took place at about 2 am on Thursday (11 September).

The NSW Police spokesperson said emergency services were called to the Bertone Close home and began investigations.

“Officers attached to Wollongong Police District were told a number of shots were fired at the front door of a home before a vehicle was seen leaving the scene,” the NSW Police spokesperson said.

“There were four occupants inside the home at the time of the incident and no injuries have been reported.

“A crime scene has been established as police commenced an investigation into the incident.”
