Join Wollongong Art Gallery for a film screening of beDevil, a special event presented in conjunction with FEVER.
Written and directed by Tracey Moffatt. Tracey Moffatt’s debut feature film, beDevil (1993), presents a trilogy of vividly stylised ghost stories, interwoven with myth and memory. Through fractured, dreamlike narratives, these haunting tales traverse colonial legacies, cultural identity and the supernatural.
Free, bookings appreciated via Eventbrite.
“A DAZZLING TAPESTRY … distinctly different … outstanding.” – David Stratton, Variety, 1993.
“A TRAILBLAZER … still one of the most intriguing and unusual works ever to have been made in the country.” – David Stratton, Weekend Australian, 2021
FEVER will be on display until Sunday 2 November 2025.
