Meet Ruby!
Just shy of two years old, Ruby is a German Shepherd cross on the lookout for her perfect match!
Life hasn’t always been kind to Ruby, and the big wide world can sometimes overwhelm her a little.
But beneath her cautious exterior is a sweet and loyal girl just waiting for a patient guardian to give her the space and encouragement she needs to be herself.
Ruby is hopeful that she’ll find a home where she can be cared for by experienced animal guardians who understand the value of gentle, positive reassurance.
She thrives on routine and finds comfort in simple pleasures, from relaxing on her bed with a tasty chew toy to unwinding with a snuffle mat.
Ruby is also hoping her new family will allow her plenty of time indoors, where she feels closest and safest to her people to build trust at her own pace.
Ruby is still learning to feel confident around other friendly dogs, which is why she would prefer to meet any potential canine companions before her adoption to ensure she can get along with every member of her future family.
