Men fled Wollongong brawl in black BMW, police say

Police are asking for information about a brawl that took place in Wollongong over the weekend.

A NSW Police spokesperson said officers attached to Wollongong Police District were called to a licensed premises on Cliff Road about 10:30 pm on Saturday 11 October.

There were reports of a brawl involving about 10 men from two different groups.

The NSW Police spokesperson said three of the men who left the scene in a black BMW were of particular interest.

“Both parties left the scene prior to police arrival,” the NSW Police spokesperson said.

“Officers would like to speak to three men who left the scene in a black BMW.”

As inquiries continue, police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident, or anyone who was in the area at the time with dashcam or mobile phone footage, to contact Wollongong Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
