Wollongong City Council is a proud supporter of the Reclaim the Night Illawarra march.

Participants will march from Andrew Lysaght Park to Wollongong lighthouse, which will be glowing purple for the event.

This is a family-friendly event and peaceful rally that aims to bring awareness and make a stand against gender-based violence and sexual assault.

An accredited Auslan interpreter will be signing.

The evening will include marching, music, performance, support, reflection, and recognition of the women lost to gender-based violence in Australia.
