Police are asking for the public to help them find a woman missing from the Mount Warrigal area.
Lyn Arrowsmith, aged 62, was last seen on Lake Entrance Road, Warilla, about 9:30 am on Tuesday (2 February), a NSW Police spokesperson said.
When she was unable to be found or contacted, officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were notified on Thursday (5 February) and began inquiries into her whereabouts.
“Police and family hold concerns for Lyn’s welfare as her disappearance is out of character,” the NSW Police spokesperson said.
“Lyn is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm tall, of thin build, and has brown hair with blonde highlights usually worn in a ponytail.
“She was last seen wearing a beige singlet, grey track pants, white and pink running shoes with flowers and carrying a pearl-coloured tote bag.”
Lyn is known to frequent beaches and parks in the Warilla area as well as the Windang and Sussex Inlet areas.
Anyone who sees Lyn or has information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact Lake Illawarra Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online.
