A Horsley man has been charged after gel blasters and ammunition were allegedly seized from an Illawarra home.
A NSW Police spokesperson said officers served a firearms prohibition order on a 28-year-old man about 7:40 am on Tuesday (24 February).
The man was at a home in Robins Creek Drive, Horsley, which police had a search warrant for.
“During the search warrant, police allegedly seized 100 rounds of ammunition, three glock style gel blasters and cannabis,” the NSW Police spokesperson said.
The man was arrested and taken to Lake Illawarra Police Station, where he was charged with six offences including three counts of possessing an unauthorised firearm, not keeping a firearm safely, possessing ammunition without holding a licence and possessing a prohibited drug.
The man was refused bail to appear in Bail Division Court 3 on Wednesday 25 February.
