About Julian O'Brien

Julian O’Brien is a journalist with over 30 years’ experience in newspapers in Tasmania and the Illawarra.

For the past four years, Julian has run an Illawarra-based media and communications business South Break Media working with various local organisations and was director of communications for the Sydney Kings during their NBL ’22 and ’23 championships.

He is also on the executive of local men’s health charity Healthier Illawarra Men.
