About Liz Jeneid

Liz Jeneid trained as a weaver in the US before establishing a production weaving workshop in Sydney where she trained apprentices. Liz established the Barr Street Weavers in Sydney and also worked as a community artist training rural and urban educators around NSW. From 1983 – 2003 she taught visual arts in the Faculty of Creative Arts at the University of Wollongong. Her work reflects a number of interests and uses different approaches to an idea through making artists' books, prints, drawings, watercolour and installations.
