UPDATE 3:35 PM: A truck driver has died following an accident on Bulli Pass. NSW Police say about 10:50 am today (2 December), a truck travelling southbound went through the guardrail and down an embankment near the hairpin bend. NSW Ambulance paramedics attended, however the man died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified. Anyone with dashcam footage or information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. The road remains closed in both directions between the M1 Princes Motorway and Lawrence Hargrave Drive.
11:35 am: Bulli Pass is closed in both directions between the M1 Princes Motorway and Lawrence Hargrave Drive after a serious truck accident.
The accident happened at about 11 am.
Early reports suggest a truck has gone through a guardrail near the hairpin bend.
Motorists are advised to use the M1 Princes Motorway (Mount Ousley Road), or Lawrence Hargrave Drive for light vehicles, or delay their travel if possible.
The accident comes only a week after a major truck crash closed southbound lanes on Mt Ousley, and a fortnight after a man died in a crash between two trucks on Appin Road near Bulli Tops.
