Bring your little one to the Lord Mayor’s School Starter Picnic on Sunday 26 October. Photo: Wollongong City Council.

Join us for a free event for 2026 school starters and their families.

You’ll get great information to help you on your journey at school.

There’ll also be:

  • Craft
  • Aboriginal cultural activities
  • A free bag of goodies for each school starter.

All the fun will take part at the southern end of MacCabe Park, Wollongong.

In the case of wet weather, the event will move to Coniston Public School at 123 Auburn Street.
