UPDATED 11:30 am Wednesday 2 July: A NSW Police spokesperson has confirmed that the body of 48-year-old missing Woonona man Adam Christie has been found.
The police spokesperson said there were no suspicious circumstances relating to Adam’s death, and thanked the public for their help.

UPDATED 4 pm Tuesday 1 July: Police have released an image of a silver Ford Ranger utility they believe missing man Adam Christie may be travelling in.
The vehicle has the NSW registration CMC63F. Police have urged the public to keep an eye out for the ute and report any sightings.

UPDATED 12:30 pm Tuesday 1 July: A NSW Police spokesperson said inquiries have revealed Adam may have been in the vicinity of Hill Top around 11 am on Monday 30 June 2025.
This is just over an hour after he was last seen on Anderson Road, Woonona.
Anyone who has seen Adam is urged to contact the police.
8:30 am Tuesday 1 July: Police are asking the public to help them find a man missing from the Wollongong area.
Adam Christie, aged 48, was last seen on Anderson Road, Woonona, at about 9:50 am on Monday (30 June).
Officers attached to Wollongong Police District were notified and began inquiries into his whereabouts.
A NSW Police spokesperson said police and family held concerns for Adam’s welfare as his disappearance was out of character.
Adam is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175 to 180 cm tall, of large build, with black hair, a beard and moustache, and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper, dark board shorts with a red and orange stripe down the side, black shoes and glasses.
Adam may be driving a silver Ford Ranger utility with the NSW registration CMC63F.
He is known to frequent the Woonona, Bellambi and Towradgi areas.
Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to contact Wollongong Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
