UPDATED: Potential sighting of missing man Adam Christie

UPDATED 12:30 pm Tuesday 1 July: A NSW Police spokesperson said inquiries have revealed Adam may have been in the vicinity of Hill Top around 11am on Monday 30 June 2025.

This is just over an hour after he was last seen on Anderson Road, Woonona.

Anyone who has seen Adam is urged to contact the police.

8:30 am Tuesday 1 July: Police are asking the public to help them find a man missing from the Wollongong area.

Adam Christie, aged 48, was last seen on Anderson Road, Woonona, at about 9:50 am on Monday (30 June).

Officers attached to Wollongong Police District were notified and began inquiries into his whereabouts.

A NSW Police spokesperson said police and family held concerns for Adam’s welfare as his disappearance was out of character.

Adam is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175 to 180 cm tall, of large build, with black hair, a beard and moustache, and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a grey hooded jumper, dark board shorts with a red and orange stripe down the side, black shoes and glasses.

Adam may be driving a silver Ford Ranger utility with the NSW registration CMC63F.

He is known to frequent the Woonona, Bellambi and Towradgi areas.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to contact Wollongong Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
