UPDATE: Missing girl found

UPDATE: NSW Police say a 14-year-old girl who went missing from Figtree on 1 October has been found safe and well.

WEDNESDAY 2 OCTOBER: Police have asked for the public to help find a teenager missing from Figtree.

Ashleigh Capabianco, aged 14, was last seen in Figtree at about 5:15 pm on Tuesday (1 October).

When concerns were raised for her welfare, officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police hold concerns for her due to her age.

Ashleigh is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165 cm tall, with a medium build, dark brown hair, green eyes and a nose piercing.

She was last seen wearing a white jumper, black tights and white shoes. She was last seen travelling in a red VY Holden Commodore.
