Have you seen Blackbutt man Chadi?

Police are asking for the public to help them find a man missing from the Lake Illawarra area.

Chadi Hadad, aged 43, was last seen on Glider Avenue, Blackbutt, about 11:30 pm on Saturday 25 October 2025.

Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were notified and began inquiries into his whereabouts.

A NSW Police spokesperson said police and family hold concerns for Chadi’s welfare.

“Chadi is described as being of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern appearance, about 170cm tall, of thin build, with short black and grey hair and black moustache,” the NSW Police spokesperson said.

“He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and maroon shorts.

“Chadi may be driving a dark blue Kia Sportage or a silver Mitsubishi Lancer.

“Chadi is known to frequent the Illawarra and Sydney areas.”

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Lake Illawarra Police District or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online.
