UPDATED: Missing Bellambi girl found

UPDATE Wednesday 19 February 9.30am: A NSW Police spokesperson said a girl who went missing from Bellambi on Valentine’s Day has been found.

“A teenage girl missing from Wollongong area has been located,” the NSW Police spokesperson said.

“The 12-year-old was last seen in Bellambi on Friday 14 February 2025.

“Following inquiries, she was found on Tuesday February 2025.

“Police would like to thank the public and media for their understanding.”

Tuesday 18 February, 8.30am: Police are asking for the public to help them find a girl missing from Wollongong.

Ellirah Voltz, aged 12, was last seen in Bellambi about 7 am on Friday 14 February.

When she could not be found or contacted by Monday, 17 February, officers attached to Wollongong Police District were notified and began inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Ellirah’s welfare due to her age.

Ellirah is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160 cm tall, of thin build, with blonde hair and brown eyes.

She is known to frequent Penrith, Bellambi and Koonawarra.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to contact Wollongong Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
