Police have released images of a vehicle they believe could assist with inquiries relating to a string of motorcycle thefts in southern parts of the Illawarra over recent months.

Strike Force Haskell was established by officers from the Lake Illawarra Police Proactive Crime Team in October 2025 to investigate break and enters and thefts targeting motorcycles at homes and commercial premises in Warilla, Mount Warrigal, Shell Cove, Albion Park and Dapto.

These crimes took place between October 2025 and January 2026.

Police are appealing for information and have released photos of a car which could assist with inquiries.

The vehicle is described as a silver hatchback, with yellow number plates and displaying a green P-plate.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Lake Illawarra Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
