A male pedestrian has been killed after being hit by a car in Dapto this morning (28 May).
Emergency services were called to Lakelands Drive, Dapto, at about 10:45 am, following reports a pedestrian had been hit by a car.
Members of the public and police officers commenced CPR, but the man, believed to be aged in his 70s, could not be revived.
He is yet to be formally identified.
The 43-year-old female driver was treated by NSW Ambulance for shock and taken to Wollongong Hospital for mandatory testing.
