A man has been charged with e-scooter and breach of bail offences after being arrested in the Illawarra.

The 42-year-old was stopped by police on the Blue Mile pathway along North Wollongong beach on 28 March, allegedly riding a privately owned e-scooter with no helmet, with children aged two and six on board wearing helmets.

A NSW Police spokesperson said checks revealed that the man’s driver’s licence was suspended until March 2030.
