A man has admitted causing the deaths of his three young passengers in a devastating car crash near Goulburn last year.

Lachlan Anthony Stuckey faced the Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday (23 July) where he pleaded guilty to three counts of dangerous driving occasioning death.

He was committed to the district court to be sentenced and the matter was listed in the court at Goulburn on 15 September to begin the sentencing process.

Originally, NSW Police said emergency services were called to the intersection of Bungendore and Collector roads at Tarago, about 40 km south of Goulburn, on 28 July 2024 over reports of a single-vehicle crash.

Tragically, police arrived to find three passengers dead at the scene.

These were a 20-year-old man and two women, aged 18 and 20.
