Photos released as investigation into Warrawong armed robbery continues

Lake Illawarra Police have released CCTV images as they appeal for public information about an armed robbery that took place in April.

Detectives have been told about 1 pm on Tuesday 18 April 2023, two men armed with knives entered a business on Kemblawarra Street, Warrawong, where they allegedly assaulted an employee and stole a sum of cash.

The two men fled the scene in a white Audi A3, which was reported stolen.

A white Mitsubishi Magna was also seen leaving the location.

Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were notified and commenced an investigation.

As inquiries continue, police have released CCTV footage of the vehicles and wish to speak with the passengers who they believe can assist with their inquiries.

Investigations are ongoing.
