Police appeal for help in locating wanted man

Police are searching for a man wanted on an outstanding warrant for alleged domestic violence and firearm related offences who could be in the Illawarra region.

Authorities are appealing for assistance to locate 29-year-old Brycen Franke, with officers from Wollongong Police District releasing his image as inquiries continue.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 175 centimetres tall, of medium build and having brown hair.

He is known to frequent the Wollongong, Helensburgh, Heathcote and Sutherland areas.

Anyone with information in relation to his whereabouts is urged to contact Wollongong Police District or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

If seen, the public is urged not to approach him, but to call triple zero (000) immediately.

The public is reminded not to report information via NSW Police social media pages.
