Police are asking the public to help them find a young child missing from Shellharbour.

A NSW Police spokesperson said Ma-Thayus Thomas, a 14-month-old boy, was last seen on Sophia Street about 7 pm on Wednesday 22 October.

When he was unable to be found, officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District were notified and began inquiries into his whereabouts.

“Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to his young age and he requires medication,” the NSW Police spokesperson said.
