Police are asking the public to help find a teenage girl missing from Cringila since Friday.
Sarah Abbas, aged 14, was last seen at her home on Newcastle St, Cringila, about 9 pm on Friday (18 August).
Lake Illawarra Police were notified on Saturday and started investigations into her disappearance. They believe Sarah may have travelled to Sydney.
Family and police hold concerns for her welfare due to her young age.
Sarah is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 145cm tall, of thin build, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing black tights and a grey jumper.
Anyone who sees Sarah or has information about her whereabouts should call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
