Rebecca went missing from Gwynneville on Friday – have you seen her?

Police are asking the public to help them find a woman missing from the Wollongong region.

Rebecca Essex, 38, was last seen in Foley Avenue, Gwynneville, about 6 am on Friday (25 April).

Wollongong Police District officers were notified and have begun inquiries to try to find her.

A NSW Police spokesperson said concerns were held for Rebecca’s welfare.

”She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160 cm tall, of thin build with black hair and brown eyes,” the spokesperson said.

“Rebecca was last seen wearing a black jacket, black leggings, black thongs and a green backpack and a handbag.

“She is known to frequent the Wollongong and Lake Illawarra areas.”
