Dog of the week: Jet
Meet Jet, a two-year-old cattle dog with a heart full of energy and love!
Jet has been in the care of RSPCA NSW for more than 60 days, and he is still waiting with excitement to meet the family of his dreams.
Despite his lack of home experience, he’s a snuggle bug at heart, always ready to offer affection, kisses, and cuddles to those he trusts.
Content to entertain himself whenever he is left alone at home, Jet is always up for an exciting or enriching activity.
Ongoing training will help Jet develop an unbreakable bond with his adopters, develop his good manners and a love for his future home.
Jet may require some patience as he adjusts to a new environment.
Jet has lived in a kennel for a long time now, so he’ll also need some help with his toileting habits. Jet could go to a home with dog-confident children.
In Jet’s dream home, he’s the only dog in town, but if you already have a pet, arrange a meet-and-greet with the Illawarra Shelter staff to ensure that your pup and Jet are suited to become best buds.

Meet Leonardo, a black and white cat eagerly awaiting his future home!
At two years old, Leonardo is a friendly feline who loves to carefully explore his surroundings. Though often shy towards new people, little Leonardo is as curious as they come, making him a fan of puzzle toys, unexplored nooks, and intriguing scents.
Leonardo is on the prowl for a quiet, easy-going household to explore. As he is both shy and excitable, a home without children would be ideal.
Leonardo may need some time to adjust, but don’t let his initial shyness fool you – he promises to bring you joy and happiness with his own brand of love and curiosity!
