Meet Pudge!
If you love wrinkly faces and loyal snuggles, Pudge is the perfect match for you.
An adorable female one-year-old dogue de Bordeaux with a big heart and even bigger personality, Pudge is looking for a family who will appreciate her devoted nature.
Dogues de Bordeaux are known for being gentle giants, and Pudge fits the bill – she’s sweet, loyal and a little goofy, especially when she’s comfortable.
Because she can be shy in new situations, Pudge is hoping for a family that understands her breed and can give her the gentle encouragement she needs to feel at home.
She’s already been making strides in confidence since arriving in care and, with continued patience and positive reinforcement, she’ll grow into a beautifully confident girl who can take on anything.
Pudge would love a home with access to a secure backyard for daily play, but she also wants to be part of the family’s indoor life.
A secure two-metre-high Colorbond fence is a must to keep her safe and ensure she can’t take herself on any surprise adventures!
Her playful curiosity might tempt her to chase cats, pocket pets or fowl, so Pudge would be best suited to a home without small animals.
A playful girl, Pudge is a fan of toys and any activities that keep her mind active – especially if they involve treats.
This sweet girl gets along well with other friendly dogs. So if you already have a furry family member, please bring them in to meet to see if they’ll be best friends.
As for human siblings, Pudge is good with children. But she’s most comfortable around confident children who understand how to read her body language, so those aged 12 and up would be ideal.

Meet Nala!
Nala is a one-year-old tabby with a sweet spirit and playful side who’s ready to find her forever home!
Nala came to the RSPCA as a stray and although no-one came forward to claim her, she hasn’t let that dim her bright personality.
She’s hoping to find a family to call her own and offer her all the love in the world.
Nala’s a beautiful girl whose favourite activities are finding the “purrfect” nap spot, soft chin scratches, and the occasional playful pounce. She’s young and curious, but also knows how to slow down and enjoy quiet moments.
Nala enjoys exploring new corners of her world and quiet windowsills where she can observe everything around her.
Her ideal home would be one where she could be included as part of the family with lots of playtime and cuddles – but also time for herself when she needed it.
Because she came into care as a stray, Nala will need to be an indoor-only cat to make sure she doesn’t get lost again.
She’d be happy in a family with children, but would prefer to be the only cat in the house.
Like her lioness namesake, Nala is a true queen – she loves all the attention for herself!
