Another teen boy will face court charged in relation to a fatal stabbing in Dunmore.
Police have already charged six people in relation to the incident, a 38-year-old woman, a 15-year-old boy, three 13-year-old boys, and a 12-year-old girl.
They remain before the courts.
Following further inquiries, about 8:30 pm on Monday (3 March) police arrested a 15-year-old boy at Lake Illawarra Police Station.
He was charged with accessory after the fact to murder, armed with the intent to commit an indictable offence, and face blackened or disguised with the intent to commit an indictable offence.
He was refused bail and will appear before a children’s court on Tuesday 4 March.
Investigations under Strike Force Feods began after emergency services were called to Saturn Crescent, Dunmore, about 3 pm on Tuesday 28 January.
A 25-year-old man was found suffering serious stab wounds.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics; however, he could not be revived.
Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District established Strike Force Feods and commenced an investigation into the incident with the assistance of State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad.
Initial investigations revealed the man was allegedly stabbed while being assaulted by a number of people who fled in an Isuzu MU-X.
The vehicle was later recovered in Albion Park Rail and seized for forensic examination.
Investigations under Strike Force Feods continue.
