Three teenage girls have been charged following a police pursuit of an allegedly stolen car through residential streets around Kiama.

On Friday (8 May), officers from the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command observed an SUV, allegedly stolen from Wollongong, travelling southbound on the Princes Highway at Flinders.

Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver allegedly failed to stop.
