Two men have died in separate road accidents in the Illawarra over the weekend.
A 29-year-old man died after he was struck by a vehicle on the Princes Highway at Yallah at about 10:40 pm on Sunday (19 May).
Lake Illawarra Police District believe the man had left his car after it crashed into a concrete barrier when he was then struck by another car. The man died at the scene.
The 54-year-old male driver of the second vehicle was not injured. He was taken to Shellharbour Hospital for mandatory testing.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
Meanwhile, a motorcyclist died after a crash on Sir Bertram Stevens Drive in the Royal National Park on Friday night (17 May).
Emergency services were called to the scene about 7 pm, where they found a motorcycle had crashed into a traffic barrier.
The 19-year-old male rider was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics for chest, head and neck injuries, however, he died at the scene.
