Two people have been seriously injured following a single-vehicle crash on the state’s South Coast.
A NSW Police spokesperson said that emergency services were called to the Princes Highway, near Meroo Lake Road at Termeil (about 18 km south of Ulladulla) at about 4:30 am today (1 August), following reports of a single-vehicle crash.
Officers attached to South Coast Police District attended, where they found a blue Holden Commodore that had been towing a trailer. It left the roadway before rolling and landing on its roof in an adjacent paddock.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the driver – a 25-year-old man – for back injuries before he was airlifted to St George Hospital in a stable condition.
The 24-year-old female passenger was also treated for head injuries and taken to Shoalhaven Hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene was established as police began their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage is urged to contact Crime Stoppers by calling 1800 333 000.
