Dog of the week: Spencer
Meet Spencer!
Fashionista and socialite Spencer is looking for a home where his unique quirks will be appreciated.
This 10-month-old American Staffy cross has a gentle nature and a heart full of love.
He’s still a pup, but already has wonderful manners and the potential to thrive in a variety of different homes.
Spencer loves people and other dogs, and greets them gently.
He loves to play, and is calm and respectful. He has plenty of dog friends at Wollongong Pet Connection and loves to play with his two Labrador foster sisters.
One of Spencer’s favourite games is dress-ups. He’s completely unbothered by outfits, and loves to put on a fashion show for his foster family.
Always ready for fun and affection, Spencer is a pup who is both full of life and quiet and easy-going – he’s happy to chill in his crate when necessary, and isn’t much of a barker.
Spencer is a little wobbly on his feet. It is likely he has an underlying neurological issue, but it doesn’t affect his quality of life.
Spencer is looking for a loving home where he can feel safe and cherished.
Despite his slight wobbliness, he’s a happy, affectionate boy who will bring joy to any family willing to give him a chance.
His sweet personality, love for other dogs, and adorable fashion‑model confidence make him an absolute treasure.

Gentle Fabio is looking for a lap to curl up on – do you have room? Photo: Wollongong City Council.
Cat of the week: Fabio
Meet Fabio!
This 10-year-old grey tabby is a lover, not a fighter.
Fabio is a sweet senior boy who’s ready to enjoy life’s simple pleasures, such as cozy naps, gentle head scratches, and tasty treats.
He’s past the kitten chaos and looking for a peaceful home where he can relax and feel loved.
Calm and easy-going, Fabio’s affectionate and cuddly side emerges once he feels comfortable with you.
He’s highly food-motivated, litter trained and enjoys attention from his people.
Fabio is best suited to a home with children 12 and older, and would thrive in a quiet environment where he can have his own space.
Fabio is ready to bring warmth and companionship to a peaceful home.
If you’re looking for a gentle soul who will quietly brighten your days, Fabio is the one for you!
To arrange a meet-up with Spencer or Fabio, fill out the apply to adopt form on the Wollongong City Council website.
