A woman has been charged over an alleged stabbing in Berry over the weekend.
A NSW Police spokesperson said about 7 pm on Saturday (12 April), emergency services were called to a home on Parker Crescent, Berry, following reports of a stabbing.
“On arrival, officers attached to South Coast Police District found a 49-year-old man with a stab wound to his left arm,” the NSW Police spokesperson said.
“He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Wollongong Hospital in a stable condition.
“A knife was located nearby and seized for forensic examination.
“Police established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
A 44-year-old woman, who is known to the man, was arrested at the scene and taken to Nowra Police Station.
She was charged with reckless wounding (domestic violence) and refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court.
