Call for information on 59-year-old man missing from Nowra

Police have called for the public’s help to locate a 59-year-old man missing from the NSW South Coast.

A NSW Police spokesperson said Peter Regan was last seen leaving a medical centre on Kalandar Street in Nowra at about 1 pm on 12 January.

“When Peter didn’t attend a follow-up medical appointment, officers attached to South Coast Police District were notified on Monday 15 January 2024, and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts,” they said.

“Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare.”

Mr Regan is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 170 to 175 cm tall, of thin build, with brown/blonde hair and blue eyes.

It is not known what he was wearing when he was last seen on 12 January.

“Peter is encouraged to contact his family or police, to let them know he is OK,” the spokesperson said.
