UPDATED: 25 October 12:20 pm: Missing teen Cody Nevin has been found at Junee (near Wagga Wagga). The family of the missing 15-year-old are on their way to meet him. His mum Rebecca Warren said she was “ecstatic” and “relieved”.

“All I know is that he has been found. We are on our way to Wagga now,” she said. “Thank you so much to everyone for everything they have done to help us locate him.”

Police said, following extensive inquiries and a public appeal for assistance, he was located in Junee about 11:30 am today (25 October).

UPDATED 5:30 pm: Officers from the SOuth Coast Police District have received information that Cody may be in the Tuggeranong, ACT area.

12:30 pm: The parents of a vulnerable Milton teenager are pleading for any information leading to his whereabouts after he went missing on Friday evening (20 October).

Cody Nevin, 15, was last seen on the Princes Highway north of Milton at around 7 pm.

Cody lives with autism, ADHD, and mental health issues and he is dependent on medication, which has heightened his family’s concern for his well-being.

The family believes that he may have met up with someone he had been talking to online and they are deeply worried that the person or people he was communicating with may have harmful intentions.

Cody is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of a slim build, about 165 cm tall, with short light brown hair.

He is in year nine and studies via Distance Education at the Dunn Lewis Centre in Ulladulla.

Cody’s father, John Nevin, and mother, Rebecca Warren said time was of the essence, and any leads could be critical in ensuring Cody’s safe return.

“We are desperate to bring Cody home safely. We ask for the public’s help in spreading the word and assisting us in any way possible,” John said.

“He hasn’t just vanished. Someone has to know something,” Rebecca said.

“We are scared for his safety. He is a vulnerable kid who needs his medication.”

In a message to her son, Rebecca said, “Codstar Nevin, you are not in trouble. We all love you so much. Please let us know you are OK buddy”.

She said her son has no plans, no phone, no money and no access to bank accounts.

He was last seen wearing an army green hooded jumper, black Adidas pants, black trainers and had a black Adidas backpack.

Anyone with any information, no matter how small, should immediately contact Ulladulla Police on 02 4454 8599 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
