Police call on public to help find teen girl missing from Albion Park Rail

NSW Police are calling on the public’s help to locate a 14-year-old girl missing from Albion Park Rail.

Zara Pearson was last seen on Wooroo Street, Albion Park Rail, at about 2:30 am today (21 July).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Lake Illawarra Police District were notified and began enquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare due to her age and living with medical conditions.

Zara is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160 cm tall, with a thin build and shoulder-length dyed pink hair.

She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, white Puma runners and possibly wearing black leggings/pants.

Following enquiries, police believe she may have been in the vicinity of Lake Macquarie Private Hospital near the Pacific Highway about 3.30pm today.

Zara is known to frequent the Lake Illawarra and Newcastle areas.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
