Police release CCTV footage after alleged attempted Dapto home invasion

Police have released CCTV vision as part of an investigation into an alleged attempted home invasion in Dapto.

A NSW Police spokesperson said they were called to a home on Emerson Road, Dapto about 7:30 am on 19 March, following reports three people allegedly tried to enter a home and threatened the occupants before leaving the scene.

“Strike Force Ventus was established to investigate the circumstances,” the spokesperson said.

“Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District responded and established a crime scene.

“Following inquiries, Police have released CCTV of two trail bikes and a car they believe can assist with the investigation.”

The two trail bikes are described as white and orange, and black and red in appearance.

The vehicle is described as a silver four-wheel drive.

They were last seen heading east, along Emerson Road, Dapto.
