Emergency services were called to Wegit Way in Warrawong at about 6:30 pm on Wednesday, 22 November, following reports of a brawl.
Officers attached to Lake Illawarra Police District found a 39-year-old woman with stab wounds.
Seven people – six juveniles and a 37-year-old woman – were initially charged in relation to the incident, and Strike Force Galmarra was formed to investigate.
The seven people remain before the courts.
The stabbing victim was taken to Wollongong Hospital, where she died last weekend.
As part of the ongoing investigation, a 15-year-old girl has now been charged with an additional offence of murder.
