21-year-old man dies after trail bike crash southwest of Nowra

A man has died following a trail bike crash in bushland on the NSW South Coast.

A NSW Police spokesperson said the incident occurred at about 4:30 pm on Wednesday (10 January).

Emergency services responded to reports that a man riding a trail bike had crashed into a tree in the bushland near the Old Quarry off Parma fire trail in Yerriyong, about 18 km southwest of Nowra.

“Two men performed CPR before emergency services arrived,” the spokesperson said.

“NSW Ambulance paramedics responded, finding a 21-year-old man unresponsive. The man was unable to be revived and he died at the scene.”

Officers attached to South Coast Police District attended and established a crime scene.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
